This directory would be named "snippets" like a reasonable person would immediately think to name it, except that UltiSnips hardcodes that one particular directory name and magically parses it as some other snippet format, which fails with an inscrutable error. So we have to name it something else. Great first 30 second experience, UltiSnips.
