+Did the BIOINF-500 homework on reference management/citation.  Figured out how
+to get Latex set up to do references.  Lots of jank, but I think I've got it
+working now.  JabRef produces a `.bib` file as its database.  Then in the Latex
+document, add a preamble:

+This is complicated by the fact that you have to run `biber` between runs of
+`pdflatex`, so I kludged together a `mklatex` script that does something
+horrifying like `pdflatex; biber; pdflatex; pdflatex`  to actually make the damn
+document.  Gross.
