+Now that I've got my backups pushed to my NAS (plus off-site) I can repurpose

+To get them ready for `btrfs` I used:

+* `fdisk` to create new GPT partition tables on each and blow away the old ones.
+* Had to use `sudo cryptsetup luksClose` on the previously-encrypted backup

+* `wipefs` to finish cleaning them completely.

+Even with all that, `mkfs.btrfs` complained about a partition table still
